Our Vision

The Kaneland Foundation’s mission is to support academic excellence through innovation, but we don’t stop there.

In existence since 1988, the Foundation has supported Kaneland District students through grants, fundraisers, special projects, community service needs, capacity building, strategic plans and so much more. The Foundation supports more than 4,500 students at Kaneland School District, including those at the Fox Valley Career Center. In addition Foundation, staff and board continually create partnerships to enhance efforts to support student learning and well-being.

We recognize that systemic barriers exist that limit opportunities for certain students, and we strive to address these inequities through our grant programs and initiatives. We believe that access to education should be equitable and inclusive, and we work to ensure that all students have the resources and support they need to succeed.

Our mission is to support academic excellence through innovation.

  • Since 1988, Kaneland Foundation has been supporting the students and staff of Kaneland School District with grant funding. Our grants support materials and projects not covered by typical Federal and State funding.

  • Making lifelong learning a reality, driving our students to become effective, compassionate, visionary leaders of our community, this would not be possible without the Friends of the Foundation. Our friends, the residents and businesses of the Kaneland School District, are integral to our success.

  • The Kaneland Foundation is a non-profit organization that has contributed for decades to the educational needs of the students of Kaneland District #302.

  • To achieve our goals, we are looking to expand our group of Foundation Friends. Foundation Friends are invited to join us at meetings, assist in the planning and execution of our fundraising activities, and impact the educational opportunities we provide to Kaneland students. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. Go Knights!
